Montreal, November 8, 2010 – As part of the Gala Qualité Habitation, held last Saturday, November 6 in Laval, Laval-based residential developer Madeco won the award for “Entrepreneur of the Year – Performance Excellence.”

“This is the third consecutive year that we’ve been honoured at the Gala Habitation,” says Martin Desrochers, president of Madeco. “But this is the most prestigious award yet! We are very proud of our work.”

Indeed, the “Entrepreneur of the year” award recognizes the highest level of performance and excellence in the residential construction industry in Quebec. It is given to the contractor which has most distinguished itself according to the criteria of the Qualité Habitation guarantee – in this case, a “Qualité Habitation” citation in the year 2009.

Remarkable achievements
Founded in 1996, Madeco is one of the largest home builders in Laval. The company’s achievements include the Royal St-Martin, the St-Malo in Ste- Dorothée, the Berges du Vieux-Pont in the Saint- François district and the Villas du Parc-des-Milles-Iles in Rosemère.

Multiple awards
